And you know what? It’s no one’s fault except 3DRealms’! They should of released DNF a LOONG time ago! Fans have defended this game for 12 years! Against those who said “ohh OMG dis’ game iz taken’ so lung it never be relezed lol!” And now, those fags are right. Good to see George Broushed is repaying the fan’s loyalty by pissing in their faces!
Fuck 3DRealms! Fuck Jace Hall! Fuck the economy! And finnaly, fuck Duke Nukem! I’ll see you all in hell!

This is the thing… games companies need to release games to make a profit, let alone make back the money spent on development.

I mean… if a company can release Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing… you know… there’s no excuse.

As much as I loved Duke3d and wanted to see a sequel… fuck them. Developers can not and should not be able to stay in business in the absence of DEVELOPING GAMES. Fail to get your game on the shelves in a reasonable time = fail at existing. In the real world, outside of indie games, “when its done” is bullshit -You finish games by the date you told your financiers theyd have a product when they hired you, or else you go under like everyone else.

Oh and PS, this was pre-ordained. If 3d Realms had released DNF in 2008 (or 2006) they would still be bankrupt, because their 1 product would NEVER have been able to sell well enough for them to break even.

Personally, i never knew about DNF until recently and never cared. I’ve play Duke Nukem Waaaaay back and i liked it. And even from the E3 trailers of 2001 it seemed pretty good, lots of new gameplay element. In 2007, they even started from scratch with the UT3 engine.

Ah well, guess the world is never gonna play Duke Nukem “Forever” cuz it ain’t even released, get it!! :stuck_out_tongue:

I never got into Duke Nukem. I guess now my joke about Duke Nukem on the previous version of the forums is true. Its called Duke Nukem Forever cause it takes forever to get released… It shall be in the pit of darkness forever.
