Can anyone explain to me why the youtube downloader may not be working?

I demonstrated my problem twice in that video, but as you can see with the second time around (starting at mile marker :50) after it is done ‘downloading’ the file BRIEFLY shows up (1:17) in the destination folder, and then it disappears.
Anyone have any clues as to what is going on? This is the newest version of YouTube Downloader.
I guess you don’t use this browser, but if you were to use Safari, you could bring up the activities monitor of the webpage, find the video (.flv, usually 10-20mb big), and download it through that.
Anyway, to answer your question: I think YouTube wants to avoid people downloading the movies due to copyright infringements, so they keep changing their code/structure to stop those apps from styling movies that have songs/copyrights on them.

I’m using this program aswell and it works great except for YouTube videos (they never start downloading), that’s why I suggested https://www.keepvid.com
