Your vote needed...again :)

For the last six days I built a model for an architectural papercraft competition. It’s not much, compared to the godly works of art by some of the other competitors, but I’d still like to know that a near week wasn’t completely tossed away in vain.

It takes a bit of time to sign up for an account, and there isn’t much incentive to do so, but I would really appreciate it if some of you took the time to vote for my entry (yes, my name is Marco). Or, you know, if you’re Patonki, vote for the best one out there, or even enter yourself :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks again! And if this should be moved to the Show off forum, go right ahead.

That Luis Lu person must be cheating. Over 1000 votes for a box with other boxes cut out of it.

You have been voted for. By me.

Boxes within Boxes?

Thanks for the votes guys. I doubt that Luis person is cheating, he probably just has a ton of contacts.

Pretty damn impressive.

Voted.

Its a shame that winning a competition these days mostly boils down to those with the most contacts as opposed to those with the greater skill.

This is why competitions should be done by impartial judges… or at the very least not put on the fucking internet where it just becomes a popularity contest.

Voted!

[COLOR=‘Black’]For the guy from Arizona State.

[COLOR=‘black’]Just kidding, I voted for you.

Voted.

done

you’re welcome

Thanks guys! It means a lot.

“impartial” judges do come into play, but only in weeding out the ten finalists. I guess they didn’t want to wade through the initial hundred entries.

Dang, I wanted to vote, but for some reason the site isn’t letting me log on. Bummer. Sorry brah :frowning:

          ^

I just checked it again, and an entry that is all digital (thus not even qualifying) has four times as many votes as mine. Yeah…but still, thanks again everyone.

Isn’t that EXACTLY what we’re doing now though?
Ah well, voted.

Voted
