Your Top FIve Over-rated games

“Too bad Valve can’t use the Half-Life series properly. However, I like it the way it is…better than doing what Halo did.”

I think I roughly translated that correctly…

^^yep bad grammar

i don’t know. Halo universe grew up fast, very fast. And we are still waiting for an Episode. I think Valve little bit afraid to screw this up. Look at Halo (this is arguable) i think it got worse with each game, i mean story

Just a little tip, you don’t say “worser” you say ‘worse’

Also, I don’t really get what you’re saying. Do you mean Half-Life had a worse story each installment?

uh i feel like an idiot being able to understand but not being able to speak. İ said that we need to see more Half- life games but we need to see good games. Or Half- Life will become an Over-rated Serie like Halo. Oh! This one is right… i think

He’s saying the Half-Life games need to keep their quality, but speed up their development time. Not so fast that they lose quality and end up like Halo, or, worse yet, like Madden or any number of sports games…but fast enough that there is not as much as much wait between games.

i’m hiring you

A Mastershot to English translator :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, I see what you are saying.

The whole point of the episodes is for faster development time. The thing is that Valve are perfectionists. I approve of that and am willing to wait, as long as the final product is fantastic.

So that’s why we’ve been waiting half the development time of HL2 for one third of HL2 :hmph:

Bioshock had amazing gameplay.

And about the CoD series…welcome to war? I mean, in real life you don’t run into enemy fire and shoot blindly. Taking cover is actually a necessary tactic for survival.

Their plan didn’t exactly work, did it.

Evidently not, but I’m kiddin’. I’m sure Ep3 will be a great game :stuck_out_tongue:

I somewhat agree with Bioshock. I played the first one for a little bit and got bored with it. Then I watched my brother play Bioshock 2 and it looked absolutely stupid.

I think it’s because the gameplay is a bit out of wack. I don’t know whether it’s just me, but everything seems to move oddly in that game, from the enemies down to you when you fire. Before anyone says, it’s not a specs problem, when I did play it, it was on a console.

Hang on… I had to ask…

How is Halo’s series being milked but COD’s isn’t?

In 9 yers Halo’s had only 3 official games, a spinoff,and a Halflife 2 episode styled expansion.

In 8 years, COD has had 6 FULL games.

?

And from what I hear, as with Halo, each game is basically the same.

Although, I could be wrong.

The first two, yes…the third…kind of. At least in the third they changed the locations more. Other than being on a different ship at the beginning of Halo 2, then going to Earth for two missions before hitting the right, it’s the same as Halo 1. Oh, yeah…and Halo 2 put in the Arbiter missions…and threw you on a Covenant ship…oh, wait…Halo 1 did that, too…just put it in a different spot.

If you want to talk about a game that has realistic damage you have to talk about Counter Strike. At least it doesn’t have regenerating health.

I actually do not see why people think CSS is so fun, maby if I was a lot better at it I would, but spawn, buy, shoot, die just doesn’t make me happy. I much prefer Shattered Horizon, that game is crazy.

I think he was talkng about COD…

And yeah, he’s right…

Well, yes and no.

After COD 2 it changed a lot (for the worse), and it hasn’t changed again since.

COD 1 and 2 are really the only 2 CODs with campaings and multyplayers that are worth a shit. After that it’s campingbitch hacker city.

I hope that the next TES game is the entire planet. The entire continent should encompass the first game, then each expansion would add another continent. Kind of like how Fallout 3 had the pit.

Oddly enough, i think that TES II was contained the biggest area of land out of all the games.

I really like CoD 4 and WaW, but they’re extremely frustrating in the SP campaigns with the constantly respawning enemies that never stop unless you advance. But you can’t advance because the cunts keep you suppressed.

And I don’t give a flying shit about multiplayer.
