Your thoughts on Fallout: New Vegas before it comes out

Now i’d like to know what you prejudice bastards(just kidding, I love you guys :3) think about Fallout: New Vegas. I’d also like to know if yall will be buying it or not.

I shall be purchasing this fine digital creation. Obviously, my current view on the game is positive. I believe it shall be very fun indeed, especially with all of it’s newest features.

Try to be respectful in you’re response. I don’t want to have to read through a whole lotta badly writtin rage text.

Im really looking forward to the hardcore mode, being able to modify existing guns (ie. add scopes, bigger mag, silence, ect…), an expanded and improved upon version of FO3’s crafting system, and the faction reputation system from the oblivion series (its kinda like the karma system from FO3 (which is in New Vegas too) but instead of being one big reputation that effects everyone, u have individual reputations with each faction).

It looks okay, pretty much a large Fallout 3 expansion. However, NPCs are still going to all seem like scripted entities instead of semi-living beings and that is really getting unacceptable in a modern game.

I think it looks like the next installment of a great RPG series.
I don’t know when, but I do think I’ll buy it eventually.

It will be Fallout 3 in a new environment, new and improved gameplay features and freaking hardcore mode.

Seriously, what’s not to love?

After this, Fallout 4 on the Rage engine, please.

I honestly can’t wait for it. I mean, I’m shitting my pants with excitement.

I keep checking pirate bay every few hours for it :awesome:

I’ll actually play through this properly, instead of getting bored halfway through then looking up the storyline on wikipedia. :stuck_out_tongue:

I pre-ordered it on Steam because I’m not a miserable cheap fuck.

Oh wow, you’re so righteous.

Damn right.

Ya know the cheap part really isn’t the key to that phrase.

Looking forward to killing people by hitting them in the nads with golfing irons :awesome:

I’ve pre-ordered deus ex 3and I’ve put money aside for COD7, dead space 2 and portal 2. so ‘‘cheap’’ really does not apply.

and ‘‘miserable’’? My life’s been going pretty smoothly the last decade, so I don’t see how that’s relevant.

and ‘‘fuck’’ is just ridiculous as you know virtually nothing about me.

You are not alone attempts to fan away the smell.

You are all of it because https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLsJyfN0ICU

:retard:

Wow… I never thought about it that way before :open_mouth:
:awesome:

It’s Fallout 3 with a much better writing team. It’s the people who made Planescape: Torment and Fallout 2, there’s no reason why it should be anything other than awesome. I’ve got it pre-loaed and I’m looking forward to it.

I’m still sorta on the fence still about Fallout New Vegas. The VATS and overall aiming system felt wonky, and I was about to snap my disk in half for locking up on me all the time. But i’m probably the only PS3 user on the forums here, soo those problems won’t apply to you cuz the PC version was a shitload better.

Soo if that clears up on my side, i’ll definitely get it.

But its all wasted on an engine incapable of creating emotions in the user.

Also, I hate that pirate girl with a burning passion.

I’m sorry that graphics are all you care about. People who are entertained by more than a pair of shiny keys dangling in front of their faces will most likely enjoy the writing in the game.
