Your Political Party/Views

I’ve read about a dozen Chomsky books. Noam Chomsky is a very smart linguistics professor. He’s a terrible foreign policy and social critic. And his views on anarchism are just as incoherent as Goldman’s.

And you did use a straw man. What I said:

What you said I said:

Classic straw man. And also a perfect use of the appeal to authority fallacy. Many more great minds – in fact the majority of great minds – are not/were not anarchists. It’s a non-argument.

Yeah we saw that.Give us something different.
Try a documentary or something.

Do I really need the facepalm again?

Anarchism does not work, it, on paper looks like it might work but it doesn’t it can’t hold up and large civilization like the US or china, or Europe

Dude,I’m not saying it will work,i don’t think that there will be a perfect system. They all sound good at the start, but everything turns out to be one big lie.

You said that you are anarchist, but your saying it won’t work.

newsflash: nothing so far has worked

So why be anarchist?

No pure system works. Anarchy, democracy, capitalism, fascism, socialism, communism…none works if that’s all you’re doing. You need a mix.

I am a strong advocate of a mixture of all these systems together (some more than others).

But it seems what they are saying is that it is their political view but they don’t think it works, all pure systems work but with a few nicks and cracks and mistakes every where, we have laws that contradict but we have never faced a time when that is an issue

I’m currently straddling two ideologies (which are similar): libertarianism and anarchism (without hyphens). The latter is basically the next step after the former.

I’m sticking to modern liberalism for the moment. I had been a full libertarian for a while, however, I saw in terms of the lax economic regulations how spamtarded it could be, i.e. multinational megacorporations in ur country stealin ur jobs/money/self-respect.

Modern liberalism mixes libertarian social policy with left-wing economic policies (social welfare, minimum wages, etc). Given most of the main political parties in the UK are exactly the fucking same however, I’m not certain I’ll be voting in the next general election. Certainly won’t be voting Lib Dem again.

Totalitarism works. as long the shackles are golden.

I’d say im a socialist. I believe that the government should provide free housing, free medical care, free education, and a job to every citizen. But as danielsangeo said

@people who are saying there is no proof anarchy doesn’t work: How do you suppose the human race started out? And why are there now no major anarchist “governments?” Right.

The human race started with “small governments”. Tribespeople with leaders telling what the tribe are going to to do, where they’re going to go, and such like that.

Even the “nuclear family” is a “government” of sorts. You have persons in authority (parents) and you have those that are ruled (children).

To me, that seems like anarchy in which the strong have begun to subjugate the weak/the weak have sacrificed freedoms to the strong in exchange for protection, which seems to me is the inevitable path of anarchy.

All I believe in is a government that is actually capable of bringing people together for an ultimately good common cause .

I don’t give two fucks how you call it.

I agree, lets all blame the jews. That’ll bring us all together.
