In the past, there were usually games with one straight ending…but by the time we´ve got games that gives us an opportunity to choose/have one of several alternate endings…so here´s the deal - what was your first game containing more than one ending and which ending did you choose/have ?
f.e. my first game containing alternate endings was Deus ex …and first ending i had was merging with Helios

I don’t remember which ending I got. One of the ones where you do most of the sidequests and fight Lavos from the bucket. Don’t remember if Magus lived or died.
Lego Island, man. I failed to stop the Brickster, and saw the whole island destroyed.

First one I can remember off the top of my head (completing a multi-ending game) was Wing Commander III. I chose to shack up with Rachael (who was/is a porn star in real life).
It was either:
Knights of the Old Republic : Good ending
or
Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy : Good ending
Bioshock: good ending.
Madden 2002 righteous ending
Halo 1, when you don’t escape the Pillar of Autumn in time and are caught in the nuclear explosion…

It was probably Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (well, I never saw the ending properly because the disc was scratched. I didn’t see it until as few years ago when I bought a decent CD-Writer and it actually read past the scratch).
That, or Day of the Tentacle.
Conta: Hard Corp - I couldn’t say which ending I found first though. They were all scattered throughout that game. It could have been the one where you jump into a portal and become a monkey king.
Don’t remember my first game with multiple endings but I think my latest one was stalker SoC and I got the I want to be rich ending…I was pretty upset as I don’t feel like playing the game over and I didn’t manage my saves wisely.
Metal Gear Solid. I gave into Ocelot’s torture, so Meryl died. Which made me cry hard.
I don’t know if this entirely counts, but for Command & Conquer: Red Alert I chose to beat it as Soviet first… thus leading to a continental Soviet Union! and Kane’s grab for power.
