The Monolith just feels so sinister whenever it’s on screen. The more inhuman something is the scarier it gets in my opinion, and this black rectangle just seems to be harbouring some very dark secrets indeed.
The Batman-looking guy. He sacrificed his closest friends and even emotionally scarred one of them so they can’t talk anymore. He cause someone extreme suffering and just bends people to his will to serve his needs.
He plagued 3 generations of a family. He killed someone’s dog by burning it in a furnace, stole someone’s body after killing them, and was just an asshole.

:retard:
I’m caught between 2 almost completely unrelated ones.
Bill (Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2)
He is extremely unique, relentless, ruthless, and terrible. Yet, you never really hate the man, despite all the terrible things he has done. His relationship with the protagonist creates an odd persona in that you never come close to fully understanding him. His mysteriousness sets him apart from the often cookie cutter antagonists.
Sauron (LOTR FOTR, TTT, & ROTK)
This one is for pure badassery. His evil is unmistakable, his legacy is legendary, yet he’s an enemy who you never see in an embodied state except for a few brief minutes of an incredibly long trilogy. His eye is enough to strike fear into the hearts of millions at a glance and his armies are unstoppable while he still stands. He’d make Voldemort piss himself and Hitler cry.
