My favourite is Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons:
Because he is such an interesting personality, and sometimes I even cheer for him on what he wants to achieve. One side of me always kind-of agrees with him, just I wouldn’t do it in the same way he would, hehe.

thats a toughie, I love a good villian, Benjamin Linus, Sylar (Even though his charchter has been abused quite a lot by a cerain writing team) and not forgeting the Joker, but my favourite has to be one guy

Why? Cause he really started my obbession with villians and the impact a good one can have on a story. I was about ten/eleven at the time and Im not ashamed to admit I cried when he killed Areith and made it my duty to kill him (Fictionally of course). But its more then that everytime you encountered him, it was just death everywere, no explantion just this mysterious physcopath with no mercy, by far the best villian ever created in game, tv, movie and literature

Bagh Sephiroth and kefka are pretty bad villains IMO. one of them has mommy issues and one of them is insane to the point he isn’t human, I want a villain that is understandable to the point you think what he does isn’t bad a villain that can fuck with your head.
The Joker. He is the best example of a mad and amusing villian.

Was a time I would’ve been the first to post that, but not now. I still agree that he kicks some serious arse, but there are better villain’s out there. Such as Ledger’s Joker. I forgot about him.
After Arkham Asylum and The Dark Knight, its got to be the Joker.

And now for a real villain.
Darth Traya! Some would choose Sion or Nihilus, but I think Traya’s subtle form of corruption is worse than Sion’s hatred or Nihilus’s hunger. She can give people fates worse than death.
I also think Cruella DeVille deserves a mention, because she is so evil she wants to kill puppies just for a fur coat! A fur coat! One hundred puppies! How can one be so evil?
