Your favorite Videogame music!

Am I the only who played Morrowind and found the music to be decent, but nothing really that amazing?

You didn’t add what I suggested eh! Meany (?

Nostalgia =)

Grand Theft Auto IV- Choc Electro
Grand Theft Auto IV- Independence FM

Tetris Theme (Great to hum while arranging crap neatly inside of something like, say, a car)

NO! the music was great in that game. so many different unending soundtracks.

The thunder effects and rain sounded amazing through bass speakers, could fall asleep listening to it.

Really? I found the in-game music to be rather dull and repetitive, nothing to keep my attention on those long walks across the world of Morrowind.

Original Doom music = best
Final Fantasy 1-10 music = best

The Final Fantasy games had AMAZING soundtracks. Too bad that was the only good part about them.

Road Rash had some awesome songs in it.

Duel by Swervedriver

Not really a video-game music. It’s a song from Deus Ex Human Revolution trailer, created by Michael McCann. It really takes you to that world…

Sonic 3 & Knuckles - Death Egg Zone Act 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgiXG1FjqOg
Excellent theme from an excellent game.

What the fuck is wrong with you people ? NO UNREAL ? HONESTLY. check it out. it’s my favourite track and it’s other version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glnpnifV4Fk

But naaaah. lots of the tracks here are good.

iPwn: Man, I don’t know that many people who actually played through that. Today it’s only “pretty good”, but compared to the simplicity of Quake, I really wonder why it wasn’t more popular back in the day. And that music is really good, a welcome opening to an expansive world.

mrfohlin: Would you believe I played the “official PC version” of that? And like a lot of people, I got utterly f***ing stuck on that damn cylinder in the carnival. Anyway, I love those sorts of endings to games. With all these damn advances in graphics, nothing has felt as epic as chasing an evil genius through hyperspace miles above the planet in supersaiyan form at utterly extreme speeds; all this in a SECRET level.

Well, Just Cause 2 came close, racing someone while riding on nuclear missiles.

:awesome:
The game is indeed awesome, however I haven’t played the PC-version so I don’t know if it’s terrible or not :3

Final Fantasy 7 has the best music of all FFs imo. And the FF game shave the best music of ALL games. Nobuo Uematsu just knows what he is doing.

Final Fantasy 7 - Mako Reactor
Final Fantasy 7 - Still More Fighting THE BEST BOSS THEME OF ALL TIME NO CONTEST!

Crash Bandicoot 2
Banjo Kazooie
Goldeneye
all have songs that get stuck in your head
and maybe Super Mario Galaxy 1

Until he forms a rock band to do shitty covers of his music.

For a while I was really obsessed with Quake II’s soundtrack, but I’ve moved past that.
Right now, my favorite would probably be Jet Set Radio/Jet Grind Radio. It had a lot of quirky, awesome tracks, as well as a bunch of licensed music. (that, sadly, were like 10 seconds looped, mostly noticeable on Dragula remix)
