Oh my god, that’s so true xD I drop mine all the time. I haven’t broken it yet thank god.
every time you drop an android phone it becomes stronger
This is proven true on many occasions, my friend’s phone cracked in his pocket because he took too much good care of it. Never dropped it or used it without the case…
^^ I use to think that. I dropped my galaxy nexus many times on tiled floor, sidewalks, roads, etc. Then one day in a fit of rage I slam it on my room’s carpeted floor, pick it up and low and behold it’s cracked to high hell…
My Galaxy Note 2 seems too big to be sturdy. I’ll try not to drop it as much as I can.
I’ve dropped my S3 on its face many times (including a couple on bathroom hard tile floors and another one on the pavement), and it’s come out of it unscathed, save for some scuffs in the outer rim.
Gorilla Glass ain’t called that for no reason. That shit’s sturdy as hell.
i’ve never owned a smartphone and i dont think i ever will
Eventually all phones will be smartphones anyway.
why? luddism?
i don’t need any of its features, all i need a phone for is calling and texting
A smartphone is nice to have if you don’t want to carry around a watch or a calculator or a map or a surplus of money.
watch and calucator are on a regular cell phone, i’ve got my bank card for money, i can look up directions before i leave the house
Even the old phones have a clock and you need to go way back before calculators isn’t a thing in cell phones. The money part is easily solved with things called cards.
I don’t see the use of a calculator in phones either by the way. Those moments of everyday when I need to calculate something it’s way faster to just calculate it in my head than to fumble through my pocket to pick up the phone.
My belief is that smartphones hinder people more than they help.
The joke is that smart phones are very expensive when compared to traditional cell phones. So, if you buy one, you won’t be carrying much money around, because you’ll just have spent it on the smart phone. See?
I have a smartphone and some of its features have been useful from time to time.
it’s a phone, not a credit card
that’s a huge factor too, yeah, my phones typically cost about €20, and unless I throw them around they last for a long time
pyro comments always make me lol and then cringe
Actually, they can be.
