You Laugh, You Lose

Oh my god x’D

This is a pretty good analogue to that: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armed_Services_Vocational_Aptitude_Battery

And on it, I really did score a 99.

Haven’t taken the facebook one, though.

Here’s a little programming humor. https://git-man-page-generator.lokaltog.net/

why does he not have a broom handle while assisting someone performing electrical work

because a banana is obviously a more effective life-saving device

I mean it helps prevent cancer so there’s that, also I think if that guy was actually being electrocuted he wouldnt be saved anyway, when the other idiot inevitably connects positive terminal to banana to ground and sacrifices his own life in the process

Bananas are a great source of Potassium-40… which is RADIOACTIVE and therefore more likely to give you cancer… right?

120V isn’t that dangerous… I’ve met people who have survived encounters with over 400V.

I raise you one ANTI-MATTER banana.

[COLOR=ā€˜Black’]This just backs up what Tiki said as well fyi.

Edit:

If I remember correctly, it’s not the voltage that kills you it’s the amperage. You can get shocked by 10,000 volts and be fine if the amperage is below a certain threshold (I don’t know the exact threshold). A prime example is when someone gets struck by lightning and survives through pure luck. One strike has potentially millions of volts and amps in a single jolt. There’s obviously other factor(s) such as the path the current takes, but that’s going off-topic.

Point is, you can potentially survive 10,000 volts being pushed into you, it’s different if you talk about amperage.

Found it: it’s 100 milli-amps bare minimum.

The path the electricity takes makes a difference too. If the electricity goes through your heart and/or lungs it’s much more likely to be fatal.

Anyway, back on topic:

Why is there an asterisk by people*?

Myeah, didn’t notice that. My bad Acade.

I know I’m a bit late, but I can’t be the only person who thought that they showed us friggin’ nothing here. Like, I think the initial reveal at e3 did a better job at introducing us to this game.

Is that supposed to be a joke?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
