that game appears to be based on the abrams movie

i’ve always wanted to play a good star trek game, have yet to find any

i remember rly enjoying elite force the voyager fps but it was like twelve probably so idk

i’ll admit, i havent actually tried any in probably almost ten years (except a star trek online trial, which was very very meh)

but the franchise pretty much died with roddenberry, voyager being its dying breath, so its no surprise the games dont live up to my expectations

Holy balls, it somehow took me until two days ago to discover Game Grumps. I’ve been laughing myself sick for hours.

When it just hits the floor… and the noise it makes… and woman, just deadpan, ā€œGood job.ā€

Haha, I’ve seen that around the web for the last couple of days. The way he just plops to the floor gets me every time.

star trek doesn’t seem like action game material.

some sort of space exploration game where you can explore planets and investigate spacial anomalies or whatever would be cool though

actually, a huge Star Trek MMO would be awesome if executed properly, but i dont think any of the corporations that own the rights have the vision for that

they should just let star trek go. its liek batman it basically peaked with rad 1960s campy shit to watch when your high and the subsequent stuff is all varying levels of mediocre that people get waaay too into

i dunno, next generation is pretty damn good overall too imo, voyager is ok overall and has its highlights

As long as it remains culturally relevant, it will never go away. Now, it’s probably just as relevant as it was when it started, except our projection of the future is different and our concerns have changed.

i reaally dont like tng but to be fair deep space got pretty cool and political and as close to a critical examination of modern zionism as mainstream media is probably gonna get
