You laugh you lose

Of all the years on da intarweb, I have yet to see a video or anything related to the Onion that made me lol.

They’re like MadTV, but even less funny (though, that can be called quite an accomplishment, so hats off to them)

Congratulations! You are now a minority. Now go sit in a corner.

How can you not understand something as simple as a parody of the news media?

Maybe because the news is already a joke and it doesn’t need a parody? Well the Onion makes it so painfully obvious, it’s even more funny.

Haha, I love the Onion

He’s a mac user, being a minority makes him cool.

Not sure why I laughed so hard.

I agree with Bolteh. The core of their jokes as far as I have seen is usually funny, but they stretch it out too much and shit.

you don’t think it was deliberate maybe? They do things like that all the time.

I used to think stuff like that was deliberate, but then I realized how ignorant some people are…

Pirate almost got killed.

Yeah, but those guys always have their tricks.

That guy mustve been REALLY late for something

I lol’ed.

Exactly. They have something that can make you go “heh, that’s rather funny”, but after 30 seconds they’ve already milked it so hard that it gets painful to watch.

There’s trying, and then there’s trying too hard.

I think Jon Stewart said it best:

“You say something, it’s mildly humorous. You keep on it, it turns annoying. Do it some more, it becomes freakin’ hilarious!”

I dunno, the harping at first is extremely annoying, but then the harping becomes the thing you’re laughing at, not the original joke.

At least, that’s how it works for me.
