I was wondering, if I sold My xbox 360 would I be able to buy a decent gaming computer?
It’s an Elite 120GB includes HD cables, Wireless controller, ect. or would it be best to just keep the xbox?

throw that red ringer away and join the true gaming masterrace
I really want to, it’s just that I don’t want to jump and fall into a hole of regret…
(By that I mean not being able to afford a decent rig. =( )
You’d probably not get a lot of money from selling it.
how much do you think I would need for a decent gaming rig?
At least $400, which probably is more than the console cost and since consoles lose value over time, that’s why you’re not going to get enough money for a decent PC.
You could build a good gaming pc for about $600.
It’d definitely be a better choice to build the PC, but if you only have the money you’d get from sellin the xbox it wouldn’t be enough.
This amount seems decent for a low end gaming system.
Try saving money, or selling some games or something.
You need at least a good $500 plus good deals to afford a good rig.
About $800 for an excellent one,
and about $1000 for a perfect one.
or get a previous generation rig that will still be more powerful than consoles
intel E5700 overclocked to 4ghz+ $69.00
gigabyte or asus G41 board $55.00
kingston or similar cheap 4gb of ram $19.57 x 2 = 39.14$
radeon HD 5670 $71.07 or similar 6 series if it’s cheaper
and some WD or seagate HDD $40.17
and a cheap power supply (the first non-generic brand was $46.35)
that would cost $320.73, without the CD drive but you can install windows from a flash drive or CD drive that you could borrow from an old PC. Also I got all these prices from a local Montreal store website, you might get higher or lower prices depending on the currency exchange rate.
and 1600$ for mine.
$1400 for mine.

Only $299 for my current one(not mine my parents pc, but I use for gaming)
for £450 you could get a solid quad core with a GTX 560
I see were playing this game. $2372 for mine.
I usually upgrade my computer gradually, so I can’t really give out a number for how much I spent on it.
However, these new PC games that are coming out are already giving a funny look at my outdated graphics card, so I guess I need to start looking for a new one.
… uh I hope that’s with heavy discounts & coupons… parts that are top of the line are expensive as shit. With current or next gen tech, a computer that is at the top of the line costs close $20 grand in US currency along with the monitors and other shit that comes with it. This is excluding discounts and finding deals and the like. That being said, if I were you I’d re-evaluate my statement.
My rig costed around $800 or so. It’s more like $1200 or so with out the discounts. (when it was bought) It’s more like half that now.
It can run most games with little problems.
Oh, when you get a computer, get liquid cooling. Trying to clean dusts on a V6 is a bitch.
I’d advise against ever selling a system. God knows I regret selling the PS1 and the sega genesis… Fucking hell…
But if you must, it won’t be enough. Not close.
I regret selling my N64 for a Dreamcast .
Holy shit dude.
