Xbox 360 games vs. PS3 games

To be perfectly honest, I haven’t watched the videos, since I don’t have a 360 or a PS3. If I were given the chance to get either, it’d be the PS3 without any competition, but I don’t forsee it happening anytime soon.

Though all I know about Natal/Wand is that they’re motion sensitive.

My next console is definitely the PSP2, it should have xbox 360 graphics.

^ a handheld with 360 graphics… well… hope the skin grafts on your hands will work out fine

for the future of PC gaming, look up the HYDRA chip… exciting stuff… but it’s claims are that it basically allows you to link up multiple GPU’s of ANY standard make or manufacture, with upscaling of performance being near linear with the performance of each graphics card because allocating the rendering load is done by this independant chip in real time instead of through drivers in the operating system… so instead of throwing out your old graphics card when you upgrade, you keep it on to give your new gpu a kick in the pants… and using your old nvidia card as a dedicated PhysX processor while using your new ATI card for the rendering legwork and DirectX11… are you envisioning a second PC tower full of nothing but GPU’s? I know I am. =D

I’d rather have a single GPU, but if I can save money by getting multiple low-end ones I’ll do it.

Im all about running multi-gpu setups, but an entire tower full of gpu sounds like it could be just a little overkill. I imagine it would be like sitting next to a jet powered super heater than can also make nice visuals on ur screen b4 it melts through the table.

We’re talking about 360 games vs PS3 games, not your hardon for system specs. Take it somewhere else.

PS3 without a doubt.

Uncharted 2 and Demon’s Souls are one of my favourite games ever, and I just finished God of War 3 which was really great too, not to mention it has MGS4 and Heavy Rain. xD

…but Xbox 360 has Mass Effect 2 (which is GOTY 2010 :>)…

Thinking about it, I never touched my 360 in a while.

Damnit Microsoft, focus on exclusives please. :stuck_out_tongue:

Damn right, MGS was a big part of my life! xD

So does the PC. I should know. I have the PC version…
:frowning:
Damn it, May 3rd! When will you be here to remind me why I got an XBox 360?!

It really is “a fucking gift from god.”

lol are 360 users dumb. They keep bringing up games like mass effect as exclusives after being repeatedly told that they aren’t. At least a ps3 user can get that shit right.

Also I think peoples console preferences factor on things like how much hair on your chest you got and how much dope you smoke.

My only argument is that 360 users allow Microsoft to repeatedly fuck you on the live points system.

And GOD OF WAR 3 is the absolute fucking shit. There’s a reason why you see no boobies in halo. Cuz master chief is a f@#$%…

The Xbox has soooo much potential… Aside from the RRODs, Micro$oft, piss poor game developers and the childish gaming community.

lolwat? Are you like 10 years old?
I’m not a console fan, period… but wow, you make me want to root for the 360 guys.

Can’t we all just accept that each system has their ups and downs and that at the end of the day it doesn’t matter?
Please?

Also, I’m calling it right now, Halo: Reach is Game of the Year for 2010!
Why?
THIS! IS! WHY!
The game is going to be epic and anyone who says “oh, it’s just another Halo game” is in serious need of mental rehabilitation.

well… it IS a Halo game…
but I strongly agree… this looks like (in spirit) the Halo game many have been waiting for since the original.

It’s a case of wait and see for now. I’ll be another to bring up Mass Effect 2. Especially if you had a previous Mass Effect savegame, the depth of the consequences of what you do and the detail on the side characters and quests out of the way of the main one which fleshed out the universe… Yet to finish it as I haven’t had much game time recently, but a fantastic game so far.
Also I have yet to play Assassins Creed 2 (hoping Ubisoft sees the light of day and gets rid of their DRM), but from everything I’ve seen it seems to be everything that the original games potential promised… and more.

Even if Halo: Reach doesn’t get GOTY it REALLY doesn’t matter to me, so long as it turns out as good as it looks like it’s going to turn out.

I honestly haven’t been paying attention to the PS3 or Wii side of things but they probably have various salivation-worthy exclusives of their own.

I think we’ll wait till after the beta and E3 and we’ll have a clearer picture on Reach and other upcoming games. Far too early to call GOTY yet. But I think Reach’s competition is stiff.

Loadouts Call Of Duty?
Assassinations Like those things that didn’t work in AvP

It’s a halo game with upgraded graphics and mechanics that have already been done, but judging on how well the halo goes down with all those 360 kids it could probably get game of the year anyway.

Also, jetpack + bazooka = enjoy

Don’t get me wrong, i enjoyed halo CE’s multiplayer in it’s time (for PC anyway) but saying it’s not just another halo game is lying.

Loadouts are new to the series.

Assassinations don’t look like they will suck as much as in AvP.

The singleplayer is a fully explorable open world.

The new multiplayer modes look awesome.

Little kids is a problem with EVERY fucking multiplayer game in existence. Halo is just one of the many games that have fallen victim to this.
I love it when people try to single the game out as if it’s the only game with little kids, and don’t pull that “oh, but it’s worse with Halo” bullshit.
Also, you can MUTE THEM![/SIZE]

It’s still Halo, but it’s not a rehash like 2 and 3 were.

I don’t really care if it’s GOTY or not either. I’m just calling it.
I wouldn’t mind if Mass Effect 2 won, though.

I don’t reply for some time and you guys already started a debate without me. :frowning:

Bokito is now my new favorite Cockroach.

I’d say that I think the Xbox is more user friendly and all, but the ps3 has much better exclusives IMO. Heavy Rain was badass, along with God of war 3 and MGS4. The only 360 exclusive I’m counting on is Splinter Cell: Conviction.
