Yes, it is creepy as fuck, but I doubt Valve has anything to do with it.
who knows, Gabe said he want scary games and that HL needs to scare : D
I crapped my pants to be honest
I don’t think screamers and weird distorted images really fit the type of horror that they want to go for in the next HL game. Keeping in mind that the Portal ARG’s had some pretty creepy stuff, this doesn’t seem to fit Valve’s style. It’s pretty stupid to jump to conclusions that this is another Valve ARG because it has a map made in Source. I think it’s just some troll trying to fuck with everyone. But hey, I’d love to be proven wrong.
noone said its real … but Valve will strike with new ip when you are not prepared
I don’t think i am going to sleep well tonight.
Haha that was creepy as fuck. Would be pretty cool if it was related to Valve in some way though.
Somebody be trollin’.
Is anyone surprised that it’s not Valve? I mean it was kind of obvious that it wasn’t affiliated with them. But I still want to know what the hell it all means.
that wasnt very scary
This has nothing to do with Half-Life. The sounds are from the source sounds.gcf file.
I fail to see how those two thoughts are even remotely related.
Half-Life 3 evolving into a horror genre?
HA! them silly trolls.
Half-Life was always kinda horror if you think about it … creepy music, aliens, zombies, combine advisors, striders … dont tell me you was not scared at least once … i crapped my pants many times
It had a creepy atmosphere but it’s still a straight up sci-fi shooter.
I think the video has something to do with the Nightmare House mod.
If Half-Life ever legitimately scared you (not counting jumping when an enemy flies around the corner) you’re a straight up pussy.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
