WTF is Halo Reach?

Let me google that for you.

Already did that. Didn’t really get a clear answer.

That’s exactly what they are.

STFU HALO IS THE BEST

Seriously what the hell is with you fucks hating on the damn game?
I NEVER got bored. I never cared if there was such thing as “neverending grey corridors”. Never noticed it.
For me, it all blended naturally to the overall setting. It all made sense.
Maybe it’s because the art direction was brilliant and everything made sense in the end.
And like there were no outside sections, which were astounding, especially skyboxes.

Seriously, morons, I hate you and you suck. You have no opinion other than IGN/Gamespot reviews.

/ODBrant

How the fuck does Halo take itself seriously? I mean, Microsoft takes it seriously, but the game sure as fuck doesn’t take itself seriously.

This part made no sense. IGN and Gamespot both gave all the Halo games astounding reviews. O_o

I’ve got an amazing suggestion for everyone here. How about we all agree to disagree and start complaining about something important? Raging at each other about something as pointless as a video game simply proves my theories about the human race. We are doomed. We fight each other over stupid things, and we are very close to destroying ourselves because of that. That’s pretty sad, don’t you think?

Nothing that is important will ever change. We’d rather argue about the swayable irrelevancies.

I thought the 3rd one took itself too seriously. They killed half of the main characters in order to show that things like these take sacrifice. Even though only a couple of main characters died through out the series. The death of the one guy in the first one by the flood in order to get off a ship or whatever felt much more meaningful. He was a general or something its been too long for me to remember.

Captain keyes.

And yes, Halo 3’s story was shit. But that’s because it wasn’t written by the guy who did 1, 2, and ODST. It was written by some gun designer :stuck_out_tongue:
The way the main characters died in Halo 3 was BS. No reason, it was all just for the fuck of it, really.

I’ll bring back the common point that pretty much everyone that’s not blinded by Halo’s bullshit has: Halo’s story (In ANY of the games) is not that great. At all.

I was referring to that the most of the reviews seemed to talk A LOT about bland level designs. And ever since, everywhere where is a debate over the game, some pricks come and start talking about grey corridors.

No games have any stories that are “that great”.

Even the best of the best in video game storylines pale in comparison to most literature and movies.
All Videogames are all pretty average When it comes to story, no one is special. When it comes to gameplay, something is always done right and another thing is always fubar. Halo just has a particular brand of averageness that I like.

This goes out to the heckler on the balcony, the song is called “We Hate You, Please Die.”

So basically what your saying is that you are a fanboy and instead of countering good points you say that that person said something that someone else said?

Truly you are a brilliant member of society.

I’m sorry, have you not played Half-Life 2? Or Grand Theft Auto IV? Or Deus Ex?

Or Mass Effect 1 and 2. Or Dragon Age. Or TF2.
[color=black]Why yes, I am kidding about TF2. How did you guess?
Literature is overrated anyway. Most of it is total trash. The same applies to movies, at least from a story point of view.

Heavy Rain

You mean the interactive movie? I prefer not to bring that up.

Meh, its just not the direction I want games to go. We’ve started with no story and gameplay focus, and should continue that until we arrive at story, instead of vice versa.

It is a good interactive movie though.
