WTF is Halo Reach?

yep, subbed >>>> dubbed

but some series is better dubbed actually

Fuck subbed, if I wanted to read I’d read the manga which sometimes I do. The only reason people say that is because a lot of the voice actors common in anime can’t act worth shit. However since this generation of Americans likes anime a lot more then previous ones, it should be getting better in the future.

Considering the people in this generation that are fanatic about Anime, and seeing the particular series they’re fanatic about, I can only see it getting worse. If Standalone Complex was the rage, sure. It could get better. But it’s not. Naruto and One Piece and Bleach is(are?).

One Piece’s dub by Funimation is really good, although at the beginning there was way too much swearing in it. I think they might have toned it down though. Naruto started good but now it seems like a parody of itself. Bleach was as well but now it’s blank pages and people planning stuff hundreds of years in advance.

History will absolve me.[/SIZE]

I still disagree with you.

Naruto is a parody of Anime, manga, and stortelling in general. It’s a fucking Joke.

Notice the random hawk in the bottom left corner.

How was the dub of Baccano? I hear it was actually a rather good one since they got the period accents of Prohibition America spot on.

The Metroid manga series was so laughably bad and awkward at times, like Other M. I was too curious not to read because I love Metroid, so I had to make a few edits to the script in the manga to make it tolerable.

For those of you who haven’t seen the LP, imagine him saying that in a voice halfway between Meowth and Gilbert Gottfreid.

Oh dear God, why?

This reminds me of those Sonic TV shows. Particularly X and that annoying little bitch called Chris.

“It’s a livin’!”

Strangely being the so called “anime-fag” I haven’t seen any of the things you guys are talking about. I’ve never even heard of a Metroid manga.

Edit: You know, I’ll probably watch the latest episode of One Piece since the manga is on hiatus for a month.

baaahahah, when read from left-to-right as my brain is wired to do, it looks like he’s crying about the state of the manga for introducing random hawks

He probably is.

He’s crying over his brother who had a heart attack while they were fighting. Here’s an abbreviated version of the fight. Not going to post the actual pictures here since they’re pretty long.

And now you can get your nose down.
On a side note, I wonder how many people a day fall for my and Ramirez’ signature.

But why are you taking cartoons so seriously anyway? It’s not like they are some art-house drama or something.
Being light-hearted is the key.

Why would you people ever give Tiki an excuse to act stuck up? You fools. Also, no. I don’t think three people are the future.

If anyone continued to care about what a nerdy stuck up communist immigrant (does not compute, right) spick with misaligned face has to say.
It’s getting old already.

Haha, pretty much. Also, too many adults watching cartoons in this thread.
