No, pokemon is terrible, also there are like 50 thousand games of it already out there and they are all EXACTLY THE SAME.
Also, Pokemon is like a gayer version of Dragon Ball, which only proves that most anime is shit.
lol
Yeah, it would be nice (I loved those games), sadly it’s a big project, like, too big, all the stats stuff, the pokemon, the cities, the etc etc…
Even though, I bet you could get new and better ideas from this one you had
Yes, it would be nice.
But, it’s Jingles, so it’ll never happen.
.
Definitely no.
Nah I’ve got the old Pokemon games and I haven’t played them since I was little. The 3D would just end up taking away from the nostalgia factor for me.
You have to be careful with using other people’s multi-million dollar IP’s in a different engine/format as well…I think that would be the primary concern here
So true, couldn’t have said it better myself.
Oh, I just got an idea for the name: Black Pokemon: Source.
Wait, that didn’t sound right…
Well 3D pokémon games have been done before such as pokémon stadium and Colosseum. I know what you mean though about changing a 2d game into 3d.
TBH I never liked the 3d ones.
Maybe make it 3D but keep the ariel views?
I don’t think that was really the problem. They didn’t play well and Pokemon just fit into a niche as one of a few good rpgs (that wasn’t a remake of an already made rpg) on hand-helds. Even as a kid I knew if I was gonna sit in my house and play a rpg there was better ones to play then Pokemon.
Remind you of any other team?
I played pokemon stadium a long time ago and I loved it, the thing was you didn’t directly control any of it, you just selected commands and then they would execute. It was like playing a final fantasy battle with pokemon. I don’t think that would translate very well to source, an engine designed for FPS’s. All pokemon games are about strategy. How would you do that in source? If you make a map like an arena and then throw pokemon at each other, you just get to watch them beat the crap out of each other until one of them dies. The one that wins is automatically the one with more health and strength. Strategy is never involved, not unless you can create some sort of device for the player to control what the pokemon is doing, or something like that.
I guess I’m just saying that you could do it, but it’ll take a ton of creativity and effort to make it interesting and fun.
Everyone who played the original pokémon games should know how many there were in there. There’s more than 152 now though.
Apparently there are 493 pokémon now…
No, but I would dig an Ocarina of Time remake.
Modelling 150 pokemon in the source engine is a job in it’s self, a job you’d want to be payed for; let alone building a whole red/blue game.
And yes there’s 493 pokemon with more on the way with white and black games.
This will be best mod evar!
HELL YEAH!
Wait a minute…
