Worst Video Game(s) you've ever played

Debateable. It was a good game, but it didn’t really deserve the name Doom. It tried to go all survivor-horror on gamers when the first two were nothing like it. Painkiller would’ve done better as Doom 3 than the actual Doom 3.

Also, the first Halo was pretty good, imo. Before they milked the series to death.

I know it wasn’t taken very well but i love doom 3 and today it still looks amazing, i’ve played it through so many times since release and it does benefit from the coop mod.

I’m surprised no one’s mentioned the Gothic series. Having to manualy swing your weapon side to side in combat is bad enough, but having to find trainers to teach you any and every skill in the game can get very frustrating.

Sounds like a console game.

It’s a PC exclusive series. It has 3 classes, and has since the first game. I’ll let you guess what they are. (Hint: the game has magic, bows, and two-handed weapons…)

That sounds familiar.

Trine isn’t a sequel, though, Katana.

Trine is a girl’s name.

[COLOR=‘Black’]In Norway.

ahahahahahaha. buying it.

Anyways, I went into it knowing it would be awful. But, in classic internet fashion, I did it for the lulz.

Whaaaat Mirror’s Edge was fantastic! I’ve played through it 2 or 3 times now.

C&C 3 wasn’t terrible, it was just a bit of a let down considering it was the first tiberium-based C&C RTS in a long time, and Tiberian Sun was amazing.

Yeah, it is AMAZING, and i LOVE the style of it

The dumb, the ugly and the smelly?

Worse game I ever played was E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial on the Atari 2600. That game was by far the worst game ever made. I don’t think it even had a point!!

Not even the glowing finger point?

I’m guessing many people haven’t actually read the history of the game. It was meant to be different than it was as released, however the developers were given an extremely small time frame to make the game (about five months), so it wasn’t properly finished when it came out.

Speaking of E.T., if there is ever a Nuclear Apocalypse and the personnel at White Sands are affected, their offspring will one day find the cartridge landfill as they build a new settlement for humanity and become post-apocalyptic tech kings of the world.

Oh yeah, Kabuki Warriors, Shellshock 2: Blood Trails and to a lesser extent Army of Two all sucked. Especially Kabuki Warriors.

For Army of Two, it was decent, but there was almost no variation to game play, except for when you fight the bosses and the martyrs or do the “side missions” (that only make you do a bonus objective that takes five seconds), but it’s still just aim and shoot, and whoever shoots more better keep their head down so their partner can do all the work. Not to mention the dialog sucked and there was no replay value.

they made a LOT of copies hoping to make millions of dolars, but the game was soo bad they finally buried millions of copies were a landfill in new mexico.
here’s a vid that proves it:

I know im breaking the rules, because i never played it but Fight Club:The Game. Not the first time this happened to a good movie.

I like the Die Hard arcade game.

True they did have grand ideas for the game and if they had the time it might have even been good, but still the resulting game sucked massively. I remember watching a documentary on video gaming and they talked about the game for quite awhile and showed the landfill where they buried millions of cartridges of the game. Brought back memories. lol

I bought the game as a kid for about $2 a few months after it was released. I remember being super excited and then that excitement quickly being replaced with “WTF?” when I popped it in and played it for the first time. Was a huge disappointment. Not my last gaming disappointment, but I think it was my first. Actually up to a few years ago I still had the cartridge kicking around my collection. Got lost in a move though… :[
