Half-Life: Source was a waste of money for anyone who bought it. I actually bought it when it was on sale last winter, for less than thirty minutes worth of pay (about 2.50)
I don’t feel I wasted that much money B/C in the average work week I stand around for about thirty minutes anyway

GRAND THEFT AUTO IV, on the other hand, was not worth the discounted price I paid for it, barely worked on my system, and the one thing I cannot stand out of GTAIV is the ridiculous slow-mo ragdolling deaths. JUST DISPLAY THE WORD “WASTED” OVER THE HUD, I DON’T FUCKING NEED TO SEE A PLAY-BY-PLAY OF MY FAILURE, GODDAMMIT!
I liked the slow-mo deaths. I wish you could choose when to carry on with the game. I hated why I was in a car on fire and was shot by the police that it cut back to the game before the care exploded.

Holy crap, you cannot possibly comprehend how furious I was to learn that SquareFail would be butchering Supreme Commander. Sure, most of its ‘innovation’ was ripped off from Total Annihilation, but that didn’t stop it from being fucking awesome!
On topic, I hated Final Fantasy 7. HATED IT. I had to put the controller down after about 4 hours because I was so bored that I feared that playing any further would cause my internal organs to fail.
All Final Fantasy games blew after 4.
I liked X and XIII. Have never played most of the other ones aside from IV (or VI or whatever) so I can’t comment on them.
Final fantasy 7, 10 (never played part two of 10), and 13 are good.
The only thing i didnt like about 10 is that you played as a homo named Tidus

I started playing X-2 but I didn’t get very far before I got distracted. Still have it lying around, been meaning to play it so I can finish the story arc.

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare 2… I wont lie, they had some good ideas for the game, the EMP level, falling helicopters, and then the thunderstorm right after, that was awesome. But Infinity Ward tried so hard to make it badass, to where they tried making Mactavish look cool, instead made him look completely gay. A guy named Ghost with a mask on… come on, you guys want to be “realistic” with that shitty red jelly view when getting shot, but have that character in the game? And then any game by Bungie, EXCEPT the first Halo, I did enjoy the first.
O yeah, and then I had to really sit here and try to remember, there was a game called… mischief makers I think… (googling…) yup, that game used to really piss me off when I was 6 or 7, I dont even remember why I had it… but I remember that was the first game I ever raged on.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior
it came out recently on steam and i got sucked in by the sniping and bullet cam aspect.
sigh… it is boring, repetitive, derivitive, hollow, oversimplified bullshit - and a prime example of the way many game developers are heading towards.
also: the animation of npcs was so shit it looked like they all had huntingtons chorea or something…
