Worst Video Game(s) you've ever played

Change is inevitable; except from vending machines.

MoonBase alpha is pretty damn terrible
AVP 2000 is shit for 1.25 queer

What? A free game made by the government is of low quality? Shocking!

Also sometimes it drops it out so hard it flies out of the tray and rolls around the floor and you have to chase it around like an idiot.

I still say we should band together and kick indie developers in the balls and tell them to stop making “Yet Another Pretty-Looking 2D Game” which are no longer unique or innovative, and instead start making 3D games that are more in the style of classic PC games.

Indie developers have the luxury of being allowed to have less-than-bleeding-edge graphics, and STILL be accepted as they are. They’re allowed to focus on a niche audience, such as those who still pine for space combat simulators like TIE Fighter, whereas devs in a giant corporation aren’t.

Why would anyone in their right mind hate you for loving Mass Effect?

Im really surprised at what you people consider the “worst” games to be. You people apparently haven’t played a lot of shitty games.

I read reviews and get friends recommendations, so the worst games I play are at worst average.

^ This, basically. The worst game I remember playing is Darkest Of Days. I never knew shooting down a bunch of Civil War soldiers with modern weaponry could be so boring.

I remember back in the day when there was no internet, just magazines. I used to rent games from blockbuster with my friends all the time…we played a lot of shitty games, mainly nintendo and genesis. You children these days are too young and didnt experience actually having to play games before knowing ANYTHING about them. It was trial and error.

Ive played some REALLY bad nintendo games, but i dont remember most of the titles. Obviously, Ive never owned any of them.

Has anyone played the Road Runner game for the SNES?

Oh, the MechWarrior4 games. They weren’t god-awful, it’s just they were so much worse than MechWarrior3. The MechWarrior4 games seemed like a step backward from MechWarrior3 in almost every category. How did this happen?

Mech Warrior 4 bad? What the hell are you talking about man? Mech Warrior 4 was a fucking class game! The original and Mercaneries!

The worst game I probably ever played was the Starship Troopers game.

the worst video games i have ever played: Every Zynga game, All Modern Warfares, Ridge Racer 6, and LOTS more.

The worst game I have ever played was probably half life 2. Second worst has got to be half life 1.

[COLOR=‘Black’]Then again, I’m just trolling. Worst game I’ve ever played was Soulcalibur.

Every game ever made.

Soulcalibur wasn’t that worse than the other run-of-the-mill button-mashing side view fighters.

EDIT: That kinda makes me sound like I didn’t like Soulcalibur. I did.

Games that involve unlocking are annoying. I payed 50 bucks for Bad Company 2 and ranking up took me at least a month to unlock everything in every class. Waste of my time.

I like unlocks, usually, since getting rewarded for effort feels good. For me, just having a little message pop up that says “you did this annoying tedious thing! WAY TO GO!” isn’t really worth it.

However, progressively better unlock in a multiplayer game are annoying.

The Starship Troopers game was that bad? Damn, I wanted to get that…

^ This.

Unlocks in single player aren’t an issue; in fact, they make sense. But if I’m a newbie to a multiplayer game and I have to go up against people who have been playing for awhile and have all of the powerful weapons, what’s the fun in that?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
