Was more a reference to that I never see anyone from Spain on the internet.
This is also partly Van Marwijk’s fault. Still keeping Van Persie, even in the second half.
I want to see Jeannotvb banned for a month.
And taking away Kuyt, Van Bronckhorst and De Jong was way stupid. They were vital for defence.
Yeah fair is fair I guess. Well at least I won’t miss you.
It was an even game IMO. And ugly, too many fouls from both sides. Holland could have won on that chance that Robben missed. Well, Casillas was also responsible for that. Spain won but Holland could have won just as well.
Don’t get me wrong, but from what I have seen, Holland fouled more often in this match and also deserved red cards in a few cases, too.
So in the end, it was fair.
You guys must have watched a different match than I did.
From where I was standing, Holland were the ones who could thank the referee for playing with a nearly complete team. They should have 6 players in the field by the end of the match.
I mean, seriously, THIS was only worth a yellow card? Really?
Did you guys catch Morgan Freeman in the audience?
You are right, Mith!
Yes, but I was unable to figure out for which team he was. ^^
Also I saw this guy again:

He should have narrated the game.
Was that actually Morgan Freeman? I saw him but didn’t realize that was actually him . I agree with Jean, he should have announced the game.
I was hoping for Holland to win but I think that Spain deserved it more. The referee did seem to have a preference towards Spain, though. I agree that German vs Uruguay was a much better game.
wat
I was rooting for Holland, but it’s impossible to miss that the referee should have shown the red card several times to dutch players: De Jong (fying kick), Van Bommel (he should have been expelled twice for the amount of fouls he commited), etc.
I’m not saying that Holland didn’t deserve what they got, I’m just saying that Spain did have a lot of stuff that went uncalled.
And… Fullstop!! :freeman:
As far as I know 11 - 2 = 10, and not 6, also Spain should have a red card to somewhere in the game at the point where Robben made the breakthrough and the spain was pushing against him and holding him back (you may hold somebody back but not by touching him).
11 - 2 is actually 9. But, despite being half-Dutch myself I too agree with the sentiment that they should have been playing with far fewer than 10 men at the end. In the Robben case, it was his decision not to go down and instead play the advantage that lost him the chance of getting the penalty.
Robben shouldn’t have been crying to the referee afterwards.
Of course 6 players was an exaggeration… but in the very least Robben, Van Bommel and De Jong should have gotten the redcard.
Robben should have gotten another yellow after continuing a play for 20 seconds after the ref had whistled (and for all the whining afterwards). Van Bommel had a yellow since the beginning of the match and still committed more than a handful of fouls (a couple of those more severe than necessary), and De Jong… well, I don’t think I need to explain that one.
I actually lol’d. Thanks, you made my day.
