Well I’m for Holland obviously but I’m not going to cheer like some retard. Looking at the current situation both Spain and Holland have their best players in the line-up with no injury’s. Spain has some problems deciding who to put on front though (Torres or Pedro etc.)

I loved their style of play today, great combination football. But that’s exactly what the Dutch can do as well. Both countries have superb midfielders that aren’t afraid to kick once in a while.

With Dutch stars Robin van Persie, Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben there will surely be a lot of goals, I’m not sure about Spain - they are superb in getting the ball to the front but when it comes to making the actual goal it can get messy (just look at the match against Germany, missed two perfect chances from Villa and Pedro)

I hope it will be a great match with lots of goals, no faul play and no referee bullshit. May the best team win. One thing is for sure - the world cup will be dominated by the Europeans.

He has trust in van Persie, everyone knows it’s a great footballer he just had a bad week (just like Torres from Spain). In the last match against Uruguay you could see van Persie is starting to come back - I’m hoping that when we play against Spain he will be fully ‘recovered’.

If not, then I’m going to be angry against van Marwijk that he didn’t chose old star Ruud van Nistelrooij (34 years old but nonetheless one of Hollands best attackers)

He’s all like “all trust van Persie” but in the finale he’ll probably go like “GOD WTF WHY DID I CHOOSE HIM?! :rage:”.

Because van Persie has a superb history, I think the problem is that he thinks he has to make sure that it’s him that scores the winning goal. Hes managed to put his ego aside though, and I’m pretty confident he’ll come back and give Spain a hard time in the finals.

Despite the fact that I cheer for Holland (obviously) I think Spain deserved the win. They played better, sure the referee was complete crap but I don’t expect anything higher from an Englishman I still think Spain deserves the win.

Some nasty fauls from Dutch players too like the direct hit with the foot on the chest, I was disgusted by this play.

What was the point of that comment, I’m mad we lost too you know but we both know that Spain was better and would win. To be honest there wasn’t one match played by our country that actually had stunning football.
