Windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network."

Well, I’ve hit some trouble this week. I finally got Team Fortress 2 for Christmas. I go home to download it, and Windows give me an Input/Output error and won’t let me boot. After about a day or so of tinkering with the hardware and trying to solve the problem from my other OS, I just reinstall XP (I really wanna try out TF2).

So here I am trying to connect to my wireless modem with my Belkin Wireless F7D1101 chip installed with the proper drivers, and before it even asks me for my WPA password, I see a strange notification bubble in the system tray saying,

Has anyone of you had this problem before? Do you know how to cure this? Can this be fixed with an update? ('Cause once I can connect with the interwebz then I shall.)

press start, type network connections, press enter. then double click on the wireless adapter. Click repair/diagnose… sometimes it helps with random error messages, but if that doesn’t work I suggest trying a different driver.

Maybe the network has a certificate? I dunno where/what the network is, but try asking the network admin (if there is one). Otherwise, fuck knows.
