Hello I have a problem on my windows vista computer. Here is the problem when ever I try to find Windows Movie Maker it dosen’t show up anywhere even in the, Advanced Search Box could somebody help me? Also my machine has 4gigabytes of ram, a 1tb hardrive, 2 Gtx 280’s, and a Core 2 Duo, 3.2ghz Wolfdale Prossesor My Motherboard is also an Asus Striker two Formula Motherboard. “Oh I almost forgot”! I also have a 1000 watt Thermaltake power supply. Also I appreciate the help from other members.
It should be in C:\Program Files\Movie Maker. If not, it’s not installed for some reason. Do you have an edition of Vista that includes Movie Maker?
I don’t know that Movie Maker automatically comes with Vista. I know it doesn’t in Windows7.
It does come with Vista, but I think it only comes with the Home Premium and Ultimate versions [citation needed]. They had to remove a lot of stuff for Win7 because of the ongoing antitrust stuff - instead they’re trying to push the Windows Live versions.
I have windows vista home premium on my last install I had it now I can’t find it?
I want the full version though.
stupid vista -_-
What? This isn’t the full version?
No it’s the old windows xp version I want the vista version and for some reason when I installed vista it did not come with it.
Odd, you should have it. It should pop-up under a search in the start menu of “movie maker”.
I tried that for some reason it does not show up.
Personally I gave up on WMM, its so damn limited.
Protip: There is no new Vista version, just a port of the Xp verison to Vista.
Get Vegas.
