Oh silly you. Google’s spyware is not designed to be a web browser, that was an accident.
Tbh I don’t really care if Google knows that I watch porn over the interwebs
TBH Chrome sucks, whether its on a mac or a pc. It’s absolutely the most painful browser ever created. And yes, i have tried it.
That i completely agree with!
And yeah, about which OS is better. I think it just depends on what you use your computer for and how you use it. That’s all there is to it.
Why is that? I’m using it and I must say it is the best browser I ever used.
I agree with Imonfire. Only thing I dislike is the lack of a “Stop” button…
I love how every tab is its own process, so that if one crashes it doesn’t take the entire browser down with it.
Yup. Also I like how they removed everything that is not necessary like plugins, security*, toolbars etc…
*Because honestly, if you know where not to go you don’t really need it, don’t you?
Well now I’m not sure if you’re being sarcastic or not.
As far as security goes, there is security in Chrome…try going to Encyclopedia Dramatica and see what happens.
Chrome’s still in beta, is it not? I wonder if there’ll be things like plugin support in its final build.
Wow, I really appreciate that you didn’t lash back at me or try to start an argument. I think we’ve had enough of that in this thread anyway.
Well, I should be civil too and so I think I should apply my own above written philosophy to this discussion as well. I didn’t like Chrome because I found it lacks a lot of features I cant live without. Its pretty non customizable and so I guess it doesn’t fit me.
Maybe you find whatever you want in that browser and so you like it.
I guess thats all there is to it.
@gwgmer - I guess that tab processes thing is the only thing I’ve like about it, lol.
Anyway, Back on topic.
I’m serious. Not caring at all about plugins and toolbars is why I don’t use Firefox. Also I just remembered about that Red Page that says something like: “This site may harm your computer, do you want to continue?” but I guess that’s about it concerning security, right?
And finally, Chrome isn’t in Beta anymore and there is support for plugins. But atleast they don’t push them in your face and" Oh your browser’s fantastic as it is, but it could get over nine thousand times better if you added something that puts glowy shit in your face and makes you a coffee every time you load up a page".
Yeah personally I don’t really care about plugins or themes so I don’t miss them much.
Post-scriptum: I really thought about replying aggressively as usually do, but I just didn’t felt like it so I didn’t =/.

You were saying…?
Windows 7 hands down. I dont get why people buy macs and try to play games on them, i dont have anything against macs, it just that it makes more sense to just go with a pc if u want to play games and avoid having to do work arounds, plus you save money (unless ur building a $3000+ overkill gaming rig).
Well i checked the links and I can safely say none of that will make it as customizable as I want it to be. Chrome may be good enough for you, it isn’t for me.
End of discussion.:zip:
internet explorer is the worst internet browser, its unsafe, slow and all round rubbish, stick with firefox or opera
lol Although I agree, yes.
lol Although I agree, yes.
EDIT : Sorry for the double post! :[
For me it’s simple. I’ve been using both OS X and Windows for years now, and in terms of workflow for my job (which is graphical design, photography, animation, illustration and webdesign), OS X crushes any installment of Windows in a second. If you’re used to working with OS X and if you understand how the workflow… works for OS X, then it’s an amazing OS that will speed up your work significantly.
Alas, due to a shitty decision by management, I’m forced to work in Windows for now because the CMS we use only works in Internet Explorer. Though, my homestation is still a Mac, and haven’t had the desire to swap to Windows because there’s nothing Windows has that I can’t get for OS X. The only time I boot to Windows is when I want to play some Steam games, but that’s like maybe 1 hour a day, tops. I’m not an avid gamer. I have no need for a computer that can run games and an OS that supports all the games. All I need is a computer and an OS that gives me the most comfortable workflow. I found that in a Mac.
Oh, and I like iTunes better than Winamp, just because I’m one of those weird people that buys music, and I want my music to be displayed in a correct, tidy manner with different playlists and all the info that come with the album. I’ll admit that it’s been 4-5 years since I’ve used WMP or Winamp, but as far as I can remember, both sucked balls at all of that. They played music, that’s it. But I guess this is just a case of personal preference. Just like with anything.
And Chrome for Mac does suck balls. I got this error yesterday:
Win7 is p.spiffy so far, but to be fair I haven’t even tried OSX
I’ve still got 10.5 installed and I haven’t booted it in over 3 months.
I recently:
Uninstalled iTunes
Bought a ZuneHD
Put my iPod in a drawer with other misfit gadgets
Installed Zune Software
I cried with joy when I could copy and paste my music into my music folder and the Zune Software automatically added to the library.
Ipods work with winamp though, you just need to download the ml_ipod plugin…
