Sorry if this Topic is to short to have it’s own thread but I didn’t know where else to put it. I have a question.I recently got a new PC and I wanted to know if a 2.7 GHz pc would run HL2:EP2 well even though the recommended specs are 3.0? I figured .3 Ghz wouldn’t make much of a difference but i wanted to make sure before i bought it.The OS is Windows 7 and i have 4GB of RAM and the Graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 6150. I doubt the Graphics card would be a problem cuz i ran HL2 alright on my previous pc with a NVIDIA TNT2 or something like that.

Yes it DOES! I’ve played it through on Windows 7. Don’t get “isn’t supported” confused with “won’t work”. If a game isn’t supported it simply means they aren’t responsible for any problems that may occur.
Ur vid card has DX9 not DX10.1. U have 10.1 installed but the Geforce 6150 can only utilize DX9 or older.

Your graphics card sucks. A lot. Even by sucky graphics card standards.
My computer’s 5 years old, maybe older, and it has all the basic stuff it came with in it and it still runs HL2E2 on just above moderate settings.
Portal works fine on windows 7, but I have to tell you this, you’ll have to play ep2 on the lowest possible setting and it will look like shit, the 6150 is a shitty ass video card.
