Will Black Mesa replace Half Life 1 for you?

L.I.S.P. often?

Just so you know, A ratio of 40:60 would round down to 2 : 3

YES:3

A ratio of 40%:60% is basically the same as 40/100 : 60/100 which is equal to 4000 : 6000 which is equal to 2 : 3.

Simply put, you fail. A ratio of percentages is meaningless.

oh what a clever person i see!
40:60 is 40/60 which is 2/3, use optimisation, bitch ,)
but thank you, cap!

anyway, all of you understood what i wanted to say, so f-off you, little trolls! ,)

Won’t replace Half-Life for me.
TeamFortress Classic still hasn’t replaced TeamFortress for me :fffuuu:

i try my best )

Yes i will play BMS, not HL1, better engine says the word

No never. HL1 is classic.

HL1 will always be the classic. I’ll probably play BM more (just cause I like the graphics), but I won’t give up Half Life. Hell, I might even kinda miss looking at the old models (or the HD models, which I’ve just gotten since I bought Blue Shift). So, Half Life probably will start gathering dust on the shelf after BM arrives. Not for long, though.

hell no

Half-Life will forever remain in a place in my heart as the best game ever created for the PC (second only in a general sense to “Tomba!”)

But the truth is, I agree with raw_bean. But only because I rarely play the original Half-Life anymore anyway.

Tomba! was a fucking awesome game

It will replace it for me. I like HL1 very very much, the story and how it sucks you in another world. But the graphics are to bad for me now so i don’t play it anymore. But with the improved graphics it would shine again.

If it is as good as Half-Life, yes, duh. If it’s a steaming pile of sh*t, no. I am very confident however that it will be better…

There is room enough for both for me. I am sure that Black Mesa will be awesome, but that isn’t any reason to stop playing the original.

Yes, it will.
I have not finished half-life 1 neither half-life 2.
Im currently awaiting this mod so i can play through all half-life´s to episode 2/3.
It will be an half life marathon for sure

Hell yes.

will black mesa replace hl1 for me? yep. pure and simple. yep.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
