Will Black Mesa replace Half Life 1 for you?

It’s still to early to say but in all likelihood it will!

never  my Idea was to update not recreate half life update means the same level design but in source textures features gameplay

Sweet Raptor Jesus. I have no idea what you just said.

Sweet zombie jesus!

Not entirely, I’ll still play Half Life, plus I’ll keep it for mods.

Fong’s gonna have to step up his game.

At least Fong makes sense…sorta I have no idea what that guy was trying to say

It’s like a word jumble, he gives us some words and we have to form a coherent sentence out of it :expressionless:

TRANSLATE
Not in all my years! My original concept was for Half Life to be only made better, and not to be made entirely new. Better, which is to say by leaving the Original structure remaining and only to recreate the outer layers, the things one can do, and the amount of enjoyment they will have doing those things.

Where did you learn this language?

That’s not so much better really, mate. I get it now, though.

ya thats a good question BUT the REAL question is…where the HELL do you download it from??? {" }___{ "}

Well, it’s not out yet…

Here, dude; you can download it from here.

:hmph:

I think I’ll play it more often, but if I think, “Golly gee! I sure do love that Half Life series! Perhaps I should play them all in order!” Which i often think (Exactly like that), then I’ll probably play HL1 and then HL2 and stick BM in at the end…

Ewwww.

I should edit that.

Nah. Too lazy.

If it’s at least half as good as it looks so far, I’ll never go back to the original HL1. I know some people that prefer HL1 to HL2, but I’m not one of them. With the remake, I think BM is going to look and feel as good as HL2.

I’m anxious to see how good job dev’s have done, but cincerely HL1 will be allways the topper.

I have problems with HL1 crashing in different areas, someone said it’s because it’s been run through Steam, hopefully BM will be okay, nothing can replace HL1 for me, but it’s frustrating when it crashes, and I’m in the mood to play.

Than get Half-Life: Source, it doesn’t crash and it has a few nice effects like better water and skyboxes. Also, you won’t have to worry about that annoying elevator bug anymore :frowning:

I wouldn’t say “replace”, but once black mesa comes out, I wont be playing ANY other games for a long while. kinda sucks, cuz im in a ZP clan.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
