Probably will only get this thing for Zelda and Mario games.

I couldn’t justify myself getting a Wii for the Zelda games, and I can’t justify getting a Wii U for the Zelda games either. Plus, if you think the 360 or PS3 controllers are expensive, this one will be at least $20 more. Way too much. I, personally, wouldn’t like/use the controller screen, I already know this because I don’t much like having two screens on the DS/3DS.

Why can’t Super Mario 3D Land come out on Wii? Instead it’s wasted on that pissy handheld with two screens.

Well, the 3DS needs those titles to be able to sell units. At this point, the Wii has received its fair share of Mario titles.
I’d say three core titles, an RPG, a Racer, and more than a few party games certainly justify the release of at least a couple new Mario games on the fledgling handheld.
For the record, the 3DS is better off without the 3D features, but it certainly adds a nice touch to some games. In fact Super Mario 3D Land is unplayable without it, and is integral to the experience.
