That appears to be Final Fantasy crossed with Mass Effect. Or a game similar to FF. at any rate, it looks badass.

Screw racial ambiguity, it’s the rest of the costume that I never find good enough, not the races-kind-of-thing.

What if the next HEV suit was personally built by Judith Mossman, contains some stolen Aperture technology she was able to scavenge, and directly connects with Gordon’s brain?
What on earth would it gain by connecting to his brain? It’s a suit. The HUD and the controls are already flawlessly integrated anyway.
Connecting to his brain would allow for a more immersive HUD. (Which is a pretty big feat, considering how immersive the HEV suit HUD is already compared to ordinary FPS HUDs.)
Yeah, it probably uses some kind of direct-to-eyeball/eyeglasses projection system for the HUD elements, anyway.
It’d be cool if at some point explosions etc. could knock your glasses off, resulting in total loss of HUD until you pick them back up.
That, or make it a direct to-eyeball, or a holographic HUD.
With scavenged Aperture tech, I’m expecting Alyx getting her own ASHPD and Long Fall Boots.
