Crysis 1 has shitloads of choices that didn’t mean shit, but makes one feel better that they’re there. That’s kinda one of it’s defining features.

I’m well aware of that. I’d just like to understand why anyone would “feel better that they’re there”. I can kinda understand hud color options, because it’s can be done with the change of a few small numbers & could possibly benefit players with different types of color blindness. I’d just like to understand why some people feel the need to customize virtually everything.
