Jeez, give him a break, blackmesajunky1 mentioning he’s a long time lurker in his first post is as relevant as stating what country he is from and yet everyone else does that in their first posts without getting attacked.

People have to understand that this is not a mere copy of Half Life, they’re only working off the original they aren’t copying it, so its more like Half Life 1 takes the place of concept art and all the work itself still has to be done the good old fashioned way. That means they still have to do all the planning and building,
A lot of the time after 09 has been spent improving everything they’ve worked on, think of it like. “Alright we have our basic setup of the game here, we’ll run through this and start actually working on the improvements that will make it better for the public on release.”
As for updates. They do make small updates all over the place, but whenever they’re brought to peoples attention, they’re forgotten the next day, Just pay attention to the wiki and you’ll see updates. A large update hasn’t been made because the Developer Leads were sure a lot of people would react negatively to the news that they’re remaking large portions of Black Mesa.
It had being repeated for 300 time.
BM will be released this year for sure I guess in this autumn, if the mod is done in this autumn, give us the mod; don’t keep it as Christmas gift 
Its the same development timeline that DNF had. Good things come to those who wait.
In the time I waited for DNF, I purchased and owned 6 Vehicles, One of which being a brand new 1997 Saturn SC2.
I also became married, purchased a home and have had 2 children (both of which are school aged), and about a dozen or more cats (but it all cant be perfect).
So Everyone needs to buck up, and know that the final product, no matter what decade it is released in will be Superb.
But DNF wasn’t superb, at least a lot of people (myself included) thought so.
DN:F Isn’t a GOOD game-
But it’s still FUN to play.
