When Black Mesa Is Released: What Then?

I don’t think you’re taking the Internet seriously enough.

like it ballsopt

Because the internet is so serious a place. 'Scuse me while I go look at lolcats and show 2girls1cup to unexpecting friends.

You are excused.

Why would you think that, midget?

You’re so creative.

I know I am, midget.

Let’s just get back on topic.

I bet that when Black Mesa is released… everyone will finish it in a day or so and a hole will tear into the universe.

How does this even make any sense? It’s not like when you beat the game it’s automaticlly going to open up a higly advanced calculator that divides by zero…

When Black Mesa is released, we will begin looking forward to the next big milestone, appearance on Steam. Then after that happens we will look forward to something else.

Namely, Operation Lambda :>

  1. Download black mesa
  2. Finish black mesa
  3. ???
  4. PROFIT!!

I think they will create a Blue Shift Source or Return to Black Mesa ore something

Someone didn’t read the F.A.Q.

Who!?

The first person finishes downloading Black Mesa, but then some douche releases a virus to the world that deletes every copy of Black Mesa in existence, and a supra-light-speed Orangutan who’s only goal in life is to destroy every physical copy of Black Mesa as well. Luckily, a gopher accidentally the first-downloader’s chimney, and broke the internet cable to his/her house, as well as separating it dimensionally from the reach of the supra-light-speed orangutan (who has just finished her task of destroying every physical copy of Black Mesa). This person also turns out to be a douche and refuses to re-upload it. The end.

Don’t beat yourself up, Madcat. Humor takes practice, just like everything else.

Madcat doesn’t have a sense of humour, he might beat you up though :what:

Gaaaaargh! This thread is making me crazy. Every couple of days I look at the BM Source home page, and out of the corner of my eye I see the truncated title of this forum thread (“Black Mesa Released:”) and I get all excited. It never fails :frowning:

This.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
