Wheatley High-Poly Model

The UV’s on the inner ring look stretched.

Ah yeah, I’ve fixed that now; something wasn’t aligned properly.

Jesus Harry, you’re so awesome! I can’t even make a block in 3dsMax, but you, you can re-create Wheatley!

Thanks man! Haha.

Stick around - I’ll be re-creating the CO-OP bots and GLaDOS when Wheatley’s finished. :stuck_out_tongue:

This update doesn’t look like much but I touched up the textures quite a bit, fixed the stretched UV Map, sharpened up a few smooth edges and tweaked some shaders:

Any other suggestions?

I’m currently making a 360 degree video of it as well.

Thanks,

Harry.

You should do this for a living.

Seriously, simply awesome. :awesome:

Well, I turn 18 in 17 days so it would be possible. Heh thanks.

Has anyone got any ideas for an environment I could put him into? I was thinking of modeling a test-chamber or something…what could I make, within reason?

I still don’t understand why you would take the time to do something valve has planned. ? Completely makes me dumbfounded.

Because it’s for fun? :hmph:

Building a portfolio.

Both then. :3

Teamwork is FTW.

Did someone say Headphone Wheately?

Dat ass.

Crowbar Wheatley.

Hmm, how would he hold it? :fffuuu:

I’ll think of something…

It would be jammed into him. Anyway…the only real reason I could think of making this stuff early is for posing earlier or for fun. Headphone Wheatley lol. You should make COMBINE Wheatley.

If you do plan to do the Co-op bots, it would be really cool if you could do just an ordinary turret before adapting it into the turret bot. But frankly, I’d just love to see your version of a turret
