I know a lot of unbaptized people with only one middle name. Like me and my entire family. The middle name is picked just like the first name.

My mum wanted Maarten, my dad wanted Brecht. My mum won that battle, so my dad had to settle with Brecht being my middle name.

I prefer Brecht as a name.
