What's your favorite 'music' game?

I just bought Guitar Hero: Metallica, and in my opinion, it’s 100% the best rhythm based game available right now. Mainly because I’m a huge Metallica fan, but the game itself is incredibly well polished and is much better than Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. I can sing along with most of the songs, and the double bass feature for the drums kicks ass. I just needed to share because I love this game so much.

So what’s your favorite Guitar Hero / Rock Band / Expansion?

Rock Band > Guitar hero. Mainly because you feel like less of a dork while playing it and the songs don’t suck.

LEGO Rock Band will probably be my favorite. It will feature Danish folk music and Europe.

Well, if we want to include all “music” games, my favorite is by far Lumines. Best fifteen bucks I ever spent; I play that game all the time. There’s also a really cool shmup called “garden of coloured lights” that’s somewhat music-based; beware, though, because it’s f’in HARD.

Rock Band 2 all the way. The effects, the gameplay… Omnomnom.

How does that work? They’re exactly the same. :brow:

Auditorium and Audiosurf.

PaRappa the Rapper.

Guys, I have a new favorite:

Denied. Rock Band kicks GH’s arse. There isn’t one big obvious difference between the two (apart from a better selection of songs for the main games) but millions of tiny ones that add up to it just being massively more fun.

This

Oh I remember another one. Taiko Drum Master. It was on the PS2 and was fun as hell. The guy behind it also did Katamari Damacy.

Forgot about this one.
