Anyway, they are coming out with Portal 2 among other things. The only people who say shit about Half-Life and its installments are usually Halo fans. I liked Halo 1. Best experience I had ever had when I was seven or so. Halo is just building into a random fantasy and the only people who will like it are those who are told about it or are addicted and those who played from day 1. Half-Life 2 is usually a target of these people. COD fans, I don’t know about them. I’m getting a little sick of the pc games that are getting released the way they are. Games like BFBC2. The damn game you can tell was PORTED from the 360. That’s damn sad. The only positive thing about this is that I can run the game on really high with a geforce 9800GTX+ which is also a sad hit for this shit. XBOX 360 ports from lazy ass pussy developers who can’t create the game for pc first. They are just using the fact that teenagers of every dumbass sort use consoles like retards. This is why the games are made for 360 first and not pc like they should be. > 
On another note…it’s obvious that these developers are all about the money, reinforcing my “These developers are pussies” statement. Just look at Treyarch. When I saw the E3 stream, all of the developers except VALVE and nintendo sounded and looked like fags.

Well, with all the “Modern Warfare”-clones and these trendy, gritty, dark shooters with big, shouting Arnolds in Power-Armor the popularity of shooters involving other themes has lessened somewhat, but great games always survive the latest fad.
What I would ask someone who tells me Half-Life is shit is:
“Have you played it? No? Then shut up!”
The Half-Life series consists of good games.
Now if someone told me just he doesn’t like the series, I’m okay with that. Matter of taste, blablabla. But those games are in no way bad.

that is actually a problem cuz nobody plays it anymore. Most everyone that plays a valve game (that i am friends with) plays L4D or L4D2. Almost nobody plays portal and those who have didnt like it much (i thot parts were kinda funny). but EVERYONE that DID play HL2 LOVED IT. I stillplay (weekly) HL1 and 2 as well as the episodes. It is one of the best PC shooters available, and i would never let sum1 bash it without playing it first. I would either show them a vid, or MAKE them play it. Then i wuld listen and respect their arguments.As a matter of fact, i have roughly 400 hours a play time on Half Life 2, give or take some. I luv that game THAT much. and whoever that was that said PC gmaers were overweight or whatever, im not and most everyone else ive seen isnt either. Not built grantd but not HUGE.
I play HL2 once in a while, don’t really give a shit about the haters, it’s their problem, just as I hate other stuff, it’s my problem, I accept that.
Which isn’t normally like me but oh well, that’s life.
