Yesterday I was opening my google ID and I found that there’re strange massages someone sent to me.
In details, they, gmail team, told me that they got a suspicious activity about my account, and suggest me to change my password. I did, and login to an account.
I got this :
Is there anyone have the same problem?
what about that fucking ‘china’?
Do you have any information about this kind of hacker(is it?)?
My hotmail account was kind of hacked in once… all my contacts received an email from “me”, but the email header shown a source IP that belonged to China…
Just change your password… Don’t use a link in the email to change it, it would most likely be a phishing attempt. Is the e-mail really from Google?
I prefer your avatar’s expression to your emoticon, Savant.
Anyway, yeah don’t click any links in that email. Change your password, do a virus scan to make sure there’s no keylogger, and then change it again just to be safe.
make sure to change the password on a secure computer (ex: format your pc and then change the password) your pc might have a keylogger installed currently.
My friend’s google account got hacked a while back. Every single person in his contacts got flooded with spam mail, including several movie execs and the former secretary of treasury. It was pretty funny.
Anyway, yeah, just change your password from a secure location and run scan to find whatever did it, or format your drive.
Check your filters! #1 thing hackers do when they have access to your account is create filters that will forward all incoming mails to them even if they have lost access to your account.
Either remove all of them or go thru each one and verify they were created by you.
