Oh yay, I love threads like this!
…Sorry xal, I don’t know the answer to that one; I’m just posting so I’ll remember to check up on this thread regularly.
While we’re at it, here’s something (it’s a bit silly, though - dubstep 'n all, you know):

It is relatively short, but if anyone ever heard that song or knows what the name is (if it is even available publicly), please let me know.
Thanks!
I think it’s this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFJ9doyaMUs The background sounds close enough in both.
The clip is too short for the app I’m using to get a hit, I think. That, or the app just doesn’t know about this song. (using SoundHound, Google it!)
Yeah, I thought it’d be pretty hard to get a detection software to recognize a song with only a few beats to read - if it’s even in its database…
Thanks for the effort, though - much appreciated!
Been trying different tools myself, when I first heard it - I even checked the comments on the video, but got nothing useful out of either, unfortunately…
I’m sure the uploader has, at the very least, a longer clip of the song, it wouldn’t hurt to ask him
I have not found the source material for that. However, it sounded like a dubstep remix of this classic: Takogo kak Putin
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
