Im anxious to see if other old HL1 mods will be made using Black Mesa’s content. Would be awesome seeing some of the old school mods step up.

I’m looking forward to seeing the bombed-out ruins in the latter part of “Forget About Freeman!”. The surroundings, and the slaughter of the remaining HECU at the hands of the alien forces, gave you an idea of just how fucked the world is if Gordon fails to close the portal to Xen, the thought of seeing that with BM quality graphics gives me chills.

Also, I’m looking forward to feeling how the new music enhances the atmosphere of pretty much every part.

I’m currently anxious to see the subtleties. I looked at a screenshot for the office overlooking the test chamber and saw a styrofoam coffee cup on the desk. I thought that was nice. I want to see what other subtleties there are in the game to make the facility a place where people actually work. :slight_smile:

blowing up Magnusson’s casserole in the microwave! and most of the other little things like that. like the scientist killing the headcrab with the filing cabinet, and the laser cutting the dead guard in half. stuff like that that makes HL1 what it is.
