What part are you anxious to see in BM?

Couldn’t you use Steamworks, it doesn’t require royalties and seems geared toward the modding/indie community.

thats not really anything to do with anything

I’m going to ignore all the things that are grammatically wrong with that sentence and just ask why it supposedly doesn’t have anything to do with the original comments as to how BMS will be distributed?

The Nihilanth.

It’s not up to the devs. If it were, every mod would use it.

I know, but maybe if they’d submit the mod to VALVe first they might get access to the programme?

Ah, good to see that Mr. Raminator still got his game on.
And as one of the posters said on page one: The installer on my hard drive.

I’m going to be anxious to see the part where the marine gets dragged by one of his legs into a crack in the wall. I can’t remember which chapter off of the top of my head, but that scene really freaked me out.

Me: “Hey, look another dead marine. Oh, something’s dragging him into that crack into the wall, like that scientist from the first level. yawn Wait a second, he’s not going to fit into that little- How are they going to- Surely they’re not going to SCRACK OH MY GOD!!!”

Not only was it shocking, it seemed like a good bit of storytelling. To me, that scene definitively conveyed that the marines didn’t have control over the facility any longer.

I think that was in Power Up, on the way to the generator. I think that will be really cool to see, too! I also can’t wait to see the test chamber and all the effects that will be displayed when the RC happens.

I like the part afterwords, when you shine your flashing inside of the crack and there’s a bullsquid in there who proceeds to jump forward and stick his face through the crack and freak you out.

Is that the part in Power Up?

I liked that scene too. Totally grossed me out. Then I crapped myself when the squid reached out when I went in to collect the ammo.

The reveal of the Gargantua, even now that’s probably the most intense part of the game.

facing the underwater “sea monsters” I really forgot their names, will sure be terrifying

Ichysaurus

Ah, Google failed me. I will commit that to memory now.

I’m most looking forward to seeing the new NPCs.
The zombies look amazing.

I don’t know whom I should Believe ? :S

Things I’m most anxious to see…

  1. Lambda Core’s climatic battle at the end.

  2. Inbound, all of it.

  3. The voice acting.

  4. Fighting the Assassins again.

  5. What Xen will be like.

Well, the actual dinosaur that the monster in the game is named after is called Ichthyosaurus. And also, Ram is one of the Devs (Lead Developer to be precise, as his user title makes it clearly obvious). He has a long history of frakking with people, though.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
