What Mods Have You Been Playing Lately?

This thread is meant to be similar to the "What Game Did You Play Today?"thread. Except, of course, this one’s focused specifically on mods. So this way anyone can show off what mods they’ve been playing and share them with the rest of us. Feel free to post your screenshots for the mods too. Oh, and when Black Mesa is released, first one to say they’ve been playing it gets a cookie. :freeman:

I’ll start us off:

I tried out Science and Industry for the first time today. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any active servers and just ended playing by myself :frowning: The game looks promising though.

Research and Development, that was one really good, original mod.

The Stanley Parable

I haven’t played a mod in a very fucking long time

If I had to venture a guess, I’d say my last was Gstring.

Seeing as no one is being assed to mention what games the mods run on, I am assuming that these are all half life 2 mods?

I just finished CUBE, and I’ve got to say that, for the most part, I really enjoyed it. It reminded me a lot of the original Portal: a (seemingly) abandoned science facility, and evil presence watching over you, and the sinister feeling that something bad happened here. I loved the hallucination sections, which broke up the puzzles nicely and kept the game fresh and interesting. There were a few puzzles which felt convoluted, and I was forced to look online for walkthroughs a few times, but this is only to be expected for a teams first mod, and I think they’ve done a fantastic job with this. I would recommend this highly to any fans of the first Portal, or science fiction, particularly the work of J.J. Abrams, but anyone looking for a fresh gamely experience and a brain workout will enjoy it.

DAY Z… enough said…

Remember Absolute Redemption? Yeah, that.

Not sure why.

[COLOR=‘Red’]i search some good source mods (something like underhell and BM)

Atmofear mod for Stalker COP

Love that one. I kind of like the mods that tried to make a Half-Life 2 before it even came out. Very interesting.

I also semi-recently played Black Ops, a HL mod that puts you into the Black Ops. Except there’s not as much of Black Mesa as there is other locations in some city.

Dayz, it is consuming my life.

^ That link to planet phillip works…

Never played that one but I watched a video on it. Looks fun. But is it designed so you only get one of a few endings or does literally every decision you make impact the ending in some way?

I played Slender.

One of few endings.
The choices you make lead you to a path to a certain ending.

Ive been playing a Morrowind mod which adds part of the missing mainland. Its made Tamerial rebuilt and the they recently added a update to it

Here is all the Skyrim mods I am playing:

Also, playing DarthMOD for Shogun 2.

The Stanley Parable,Day-Z and the Minecraft Solar Apocalypse mod on Hardcore.

CSPromod BETA 1.09 (internal testing version)

Black Mesa

Residual Life for Half-Life. Really captures the cold, obsolete industrial mope-ride vibes that the original game failed to deliver. It’s like Michael Crichton beat up Mark Laidlaw, took his script for Half-Life, and fixed all the parts he thought were too cool.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
