When I walk the empty streets in the late night, coming back from a party or something, I always think. Also when I’m on the computer, in the late night too, but not playing anything, just reading stuff, that always make me think. Or if I’m far away in the countryside, alone, too. I think loneliness makes me think.
The universe makes me think - Especially about how small we are compared to what else is out there.

I read this little something about some condition in which both halves of the brain having some shitty communication between each other, leading to the brain just going “fuck this shit, imma stop thinking”.
Like, some sciencebro told a test subject to close both eyes. The subject’s brain thinks both the eyes are closed, but in reality only one is closed because the other half of the brain didn’t get the memo.
The the sciencebro told the subject to look into the mirror and tell him whether he sees his own reflection or not. Because one eye is open, the brain registers the reflection, but at the same time the brain thinks that the eyes are closed and as such shouldn’t register anything.
At that point the brain just stopped thinking about that issue and started thinking about something else (subejcts couldn’t recall the entire “close your eyes and look into a mirror” thing).

That’s really fascinating. I was watching a video in Psychology the other day where someone was undergoing brain surgery. She was fully conscious for most of it, and would talk with the nurses and talk about what she felt or did when they used electrodes on certain parts of her brain.
I think about the title of the next book I’m going to write.
Then change my mind, again.
