What is YOUR favourite Boss Battle of all time?

Like most of these situations, the title says it all.
What is your favourite boss battle from any game? it could be because of the emotion it produces, the memorable dialogue, or even the way the bad guy fell over in the end. A battle that you truely found awesome. :awesome:

I’ll start off. My favourite boss battle so far has to be the final face off between Solid Snake and Liquid Ocelot on top of the Outer Haven at the end of Metal Gear Solid 4. Plays as something of an interactive cutscene, but epic none the less. The constant tension between the characters through the series finally climaxes (:jizz :slight_smile: in an unforgetable, no nonsense fist fight. Fucking win.

Every boss battle in every Ninja Gaiden game,
Every boss battle in every Metal Gear Solid game,
And if it counts: the final level of WarCraft 3 (not the expansion, that one is just gay).

Most games I play don’t have bosses. (Call of Duty etc.)

Frank Tenpenny and Big Smoke from GTA San Andreas. It’s a huge battle with a wild fire truck chase at the end.

Jenova Synthesis, Bizarro Sepiroth and Safer Sepiroth.
Freaking easiest final battle ever, but epic nonetheless.

Ozma in Final Fantasy IX is also great. That one’s not exactly a pushover though. He can wipe your team out in one turn flat if you’re unlucky. (Meteor in first turn, you’re gone)

Ganon from Zelda: Ocarina of Time!
It was SOOOOO epic! I was out of arrows, out of magic, I had half a heart left with no fariy-jars, but I managed to slice his tail one more time. Then, suddenly, I get a cinematic cutscene. Now that bitch Princess finally decides to help out and keeps Ganon still just long enough for me to jam the Master Sword right through his skull!
When I saw him drifting into the white background, he said he would get his revenge. I gave him the finger.

i rememer SOME boss fight in Mindgate Conspiracy was good … , and i liked one in Advent rising … and some nazi dude in Blood Rayne 1

The mother ship in Pandemonium, for the Intellivision gaming system. Of course, I haven’t played that game in over twenty years, but I loved it so much.
