Title says it all. Personaly, i’d say that The House of the Dead series is my favorite arcade games. The music was excelent, the bosses were cool (not very original though) and the story was awesome. I liked the Magician, he hurls fire and he doesn’t afraid of anything.
Also, Teh Silent Scope is the boss.
Asteroids. Hilarious sound and it’s really underated.
Tekken
Space Invaders, Mortal Kombat, and those generic “RELOAD. RELOAD. RELOAD. step on the pedal to duck” shooting games where the people aren’t models, but superimposed actors.
Rail shooters? Reminds me of Area 51.

For me, Star Wars Trilogy: Arcade is my favourite.
The Metal Slug series.
House of the Dead was one of my faves in the mid-to-late nineties. Always been a shooter guy.

for me it has be any pinball machine in the arcade.
I had the unfortunate experience to find an arcade(this happened almost a decade ago), where a friend’s party was being held, where the pinball machine had the ball stuck under a ramp.
I dont know why but I don’t like the House of the dead series…
