What have you been reading?

I decided I wasn’t in the mood for a Gaiman novel right now, so I’m reading Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Sausages by Tom Holt instead.

Catch-22. I didn’t read it when it was assigned in high school, but I really wish I had. This book has got to be one of the funniest things I’ve ever read.

Catch-22, a phrase made famous, I believe, by an old fisherman who would stay out fishing until he caught - how many fish? anybody? - that’s right, twenty-two.

Subbed anime.

Relevation Space by Alastair Reynolds.

I’m currently reading “L’école des femmes (School of Wives)” of Molière for my French Litterature class. Apparently, it’s a comedy. Next up: Caves of Steel of Isaac Asimov for my English Litterature class.

I just started Divine Misfortune by A. Lee Martinez. I’ve been meaning to read something of his for while now; he’s often billed as “The American Terry Pratchett.” I’m enjoying it so far.

Seriously, though, I have been reading The Scarlet Letter for my English class. Fuckin’ Hawthorne and his wannabe Puritan grammar…

Finished “The First Rule” by Robert Crais over the weekend

The name of the wind - Patrick Rothfuss

Awesome, one hell of a good fantasy book. Now I want part 2 :L

You know that it’s out right? It’s called The Wise Man’s Fear. I’m waiting for it to come out in paperback, then I’m gonna be on that like horseflies on Sarah Jessica Parker.

Worst book in the history of books, IMO. Hawthorne is a shit writer overall.

When I was on vacation, I read Mass Effect: Revelation. I just finished reading Mass Effect: Ascension. I will read Mass Effect: Retribution next.

I don’t read a whole lot of books.

So when it comes to the few you do read you choose Mass Effect ones? Jeez.

I’m reading The Heretic Queen, by Michelle Moran. Not very good, but I’m a sucker for sappy romance and Ancient Egypt, so darn, I had to cave in. Before that I finished Before I Fall, by Lauren Oliver. I always end up tearing…

I choose what interests me. Mass Effect interests me, so it makes sense for me to read them.

Yeah, but you could read good sci-fi. I mean, going by that logic you should only play Mass Effect.

Recommend me some then omg (and know that it may be a while before I read it >_>)
