u should read anything by chuck palahniuk
I’ve read Fight Club, and as awesome as the movie was, the book was better. Been meaning to read more of his stuff.
something by george r r martin
Iain M Banks does some great stuff, try… Use of Weapons is a good one.
Sallinger’s “The catcher in the rye” (why don’t we study it in school here in italy damnit?!)
and Murakami Haruki’s “Norvegian wood” “Kafka on the Shore” and “Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World”. i’m falling in love with his style
I’m currently reading Surface Detail. That plot twist in Use of Weapons is, well, ick. Makes it probably my least re-read of the series, despite it being one of the best.
Yes, since march I think. But I would just get confused if I read the english original. I need the translated version.
read invisible monsters and lullaby
A friend gave me The Green Mile by Stephen King which I’ll probably read in the coming week or so. I love everything I’ve read by him and apparently this is one of the best.
I’ve finally gotten started on I Am Legend since it was perfect to combine with something I’m doing in school atm. I’m about 60-70 pages into it and all i can say is: Get started on it immediately if you haven’t already read it. It’s becoming increasingly hard for me to put it down, the further i get.
Seriously? I thought it was quite well done.
Oh, the mechanics of the twist were excellent. No, I meant from an emotional point of view finding out that the focus of your sympathy for much of the book was then aimed at someone who turned out to be a bit of a cunt.
Hivemind, man, I was going to recommend exactly that same book.
I finished Angels and Demons by Dan Brown and have since started rereading through the inferior The DaVinci Code, so I can keep things in context when I move onto the third installment. Chances are, after reading through these, I might actually watch the movies.
chucky p all the chucky p forever chucky p
I bet kids saw the movie, said ILLUMINATI IS TAKING OVER THE WORLD SHEEPLE
then proceeded to youtube.
Re-reading Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time series because I didn’t want to wait until the final book came out without the previous one fresh in my mind. Currently on book 4 out of a total of 14.
Hitchhiker’s Trilogy.
I just finished Tom Holt’s Blonde Bombshell. His recent stuff has been a lot better than older stuff of his that I’ve read.
No man prefers to sleep two in a bed. In fact, you would a good deal rather not sleep with your own brother. I don’t know how it is, but people like to be private when they are sleeping. And when it comes to sleeping with an unknown stranger, in a strange inn, in a strange town, and that stranger a harpooneer, then your objections indefinitely multiply.
